Baha’is recognise storytelling as an instrument that evokes one’s imagination, illustrates how to apply principles and spiritual qualities, and also introduces new words and complex ideas into a child’s language.
The Peoples’ Choir is for everybody. It is a social and cultural opportunity for all people. It is a place where we aim to build self esteem and deliver a program that’s creative and manageable for people of all ages and from all socio- economic groups. The Peoples’ Choir is for everybody. It is a social and cultural opportunity for all people. It is a place where we aim to build self esteem and deliver a program that’s creative and manageable for people of all ages and from all socio- economic groups. We welcome and include individuals of all ages, abilities, nationalities and religions. Our primary activity is singing and the joy of music, but we encourage inclusion and community spirit. The Choir meets at Stonnington Uniting Church, Ewing Memorial Hall, 59 Burke Road, East Malvern 3145 every Tuesday at 7pm to 8.30pm.

Stage Left is one of Melbourne's leading Performing Arts Schools and has been training and creating performance opportunities for young people since 2006. At Stage Left, your child can learn acting, singing, and dancing all at the one venue under the guidance of industry professionals who are experienced teachers and performers. While Stage Left does cater for students with stars in their eyes with current students and graduates appearing in professional musicals, TV and film we believe the skills developed through our classes are skills for life not just for the stage. The self confidence, poise and self- awareness they develop will last long after the show is over.

The Jazz Centre was established thirty- eight years ago, at 29 Burke Road, East Malvern, where it is still located today. The Jazz Centre has developed a diverse teaching programme over the years and offers a wide range of classes suited to the varying needs of each individual. No other Dance School in the Malvern area or nearby offers it
The Jazz Centre was established thirty- eight years ago, at 29 Burke Road, East Malvern, where it is still located today. The Jazz Centre has developed a diverse teaching programme over the years and offers a wide range of classes suited to the varying needs of each individual. No other Dance School in the Malvern area or nearby offers its students the breadth of opportunity to develop their Performing Arts talents. Subjects such as singing, hip hop, music theatre, drama, circus, acrobatics and cheerleading, along with the more traditional jazz, tap and classical ballet (with the RAD syllabus) are all part of The Jazz Centre curriculum. The centre has also developed a unique pre-school program for children aged 3 – 5 years introducing them to all styles of dance and acrobatics.
